Sir John Lewis one of the strong living, breathing African Americans that walked and fought side by side with Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. for equality, justice, and peace for all. Mr. Lewis issued a statement a few weeks ago saying that he sensed the McCain/Palin rallies were starting to be reminiscent of the 60s with the chanting and preaching of segregation and hate speech.
The McCain camp claimed that Mr. Lewis was wrong and had no reason to categorize the rallies as such. Cry me a river McCain.
John McCain wanted Barack Obama to denoucne Mr. Lewis for those comment. Never happened. John McCain never attempted to quail the "Paling around with Terrorist" comments that begin the KILL HIM/TERRORIST/TREASON/MUSLIM(again)/ARAB/N*GGER/KKK Letters etc.
Now John McCain is saying that he loves his supporters. HE LOVES HIS SUPPORTERS!
Well guess what, Congressman John Lewis said, "he has nothing to apologize for." "Maybe I could have phrased it a little different but my point was made and I stands by it."
And guess what, Congressman John Lewis is absolutely right.
